Prodigious Disciple of Greats - Pt.Vasantrao Kulkarni of Agra - Gwalior gharana, Gaana Saraswati Kishori Amonkar, and Pt.Dinkar Kaikani. She is India?s leading Hindustani Classical Vocalist.
Of the "Me Radhika" fame, she has lent her voice as lead playback for the Shyam Benegal film ?Sardari Begum?, Marathi, Hindi films and also devotional and ghazal albums. Popular judge on "ZEE Marathi SaReGaMaPa" talent contest, recipient of National Award - film playback for ?Saavlee? (2008), Mayors? Award, Late Pt. Kumar Gandharva Sanman (2006-07), Surashree Kesarbai Kerkar scholarship (1980-1982), and All India Radio gold medalist, to name a few.
She has performed at various prestigious festivals including Savai Gandharva Mahotsav (Pune), Tansen Samaroh (Gwalior), Doverlane (Kolkatta). She has performed repeatedly abroad at various venues in countries like U.S.A., Canada, U.K. and middle eastern countries.
